life is poo. But God loves us, and we're even crappier than poo. So I will learn to love the poo, no matter how much it stinks.

I find it ironic the week after we did the huge interprayer, the whole thing with the budget cuts became a reality at school. I could be mad. But something tells me it's an answer to prayer. People's securities have been shaken. They don't know where to look. I believe this is softening people's hearts to God. I just pray the christians will not become enraptured into this spirit of depression, but that they would show their true colors in this time of darkness. Before the great light always comes great darkness. The church has a role in this yet... it's not just a budget... there's something going on in the spiritual world.

hahahahaha satan's been really mad at me today. man... i hate it when he's mad at me, cuz he knows my weaknesses. But at the same time, it humors me, because Satan's discouragement shows i'm going the right direction. Without knowing it, satan lights up my path everytime he attacks me. His only back up plan is covering up that truth... but God's light and truth is brighter than the darkness of satan's lies. amen.

Just these past few days, God has really been laying on my heart how much he grieves at the division in the church. All this division sure makes me sick at least. I'm tired of people arguing over stupid things. It's time to get back to the what we believe in as Christians- that God loved us, gave us His Son for our sins, and that he longs to keep working in our lives today. That's all there is simply. And we as humans have destroyed that simplicity with all this crap. Just stupid crap. It divides the church. The church is not one body. We need to pull together! Satan is toying with us! He knows our weaknesses, and he attacks those weaknesses, loosely quoted from C.S. Lewis. It's time for us to realize OUR weakness and depend on God, and stop trying to fix it ourselves by dividing ourselves even more. I've been through 3 or 4 church splits already, and i'm sick of division, and people choosing sides. It's so STUPID. WAKE UP! Choosing sides is not what the church was meant for! We must rise up against this.



Something i've noticed also is that it's always the parents' arguments that are dividing up the church. Almost never the youth. Now, i don't mean to be saying we're better than parents, but i believe we as the youth must start uniting early before we become old and argumentitave. The youth must unite and show the parents that WE WILL NOT BE A CHURCH DIVIDED. There is power in reconciliation, and foremost for this generation is reconciliation between our generation and the parents' generation, for we have rebelled in so many ways. The second most needed is for the church in general. Satan knows this. He tears apart at families and churches. I SAY IT'S TIME TO FIGHT BACK. CHURCH, LET US BE ONE VOICE. LET'S GET SATAN MAD. I'M NOT AFRAID OF IT, BECAUSE MY GOD'S BIGGER THAN SATAN, OR HIS LIES, OR HIS DIVISION. I WON'T HAVE IT ANYMORE.



From now on, i am going to make uniting the church one of my purposes in life. The church can't be having this civil war. We have a REAL war to fight out there, not inside the walls of the church. Oh when, oh when will we rise up.... Shout to the NOrth is stuck in my head...

I await that day... when the church will rise up in one voice with a shout to the Lord our God. I once had a vision of the church of God truly shouting to the Lord, the way He deserves it. I heard the passion in each and every voice... and how it ROARED... THis is what will shake mountains. THe church standing in unity and giving that battle cry to the Lord.... OH JESUS MAY THAT DAY COME SOON.

Dependency

These last few months, i've seen such crazy things taht God can do. I looked back and saw that there was one simple reason why God has been doing so much in my life. I think the key to seeing things happen in one's life and world... well i think it's very well put in Delirious's song, History Maker. In it, it says:
I'm gonna be a history maker in this land
I'm gonna be a speaker of truth to all this land.
I'm gonna stand, I'm gonna run...
Into your arms.

You see, the key to becoming an effective person and a "history maker" is not to work hard, not perserverence, not worrying, (even though some of these things are important,) but it is running into the arms of Jesus. You see the only way to see things happen is to "Let Go, and Let God". Man, it's just crazy what God will do when you simply let Him do the work. You see, it's not being lazy. God has pleasure when we realize that our strength is not enough to carry out the deeds of our lives, and we admit and confess that only He has the power to guide us through.

It's just awesome. I am in awe of what God is doing. Every success i've experienced these past few months has been from believing in God's infinite power and realizing that I don't have that same power.

Change is in the air.

I've been reading Tolkien again. Haven't read it in a while. Guess i'm joining the bandwagon and reading it just cause of the movie. But i read amazed with a new understanding of it all. Tolkien said he never meant for the story to be a complete allegory, but there are so many references to the coming of Jesus and the gospel in it. Quite amazing. He does it all with so much detail too. What can i say? tolkien's a genius. even if he didn't make so many biblical inferences. He captures the reader in such a unique way.
